I just wanted to let you know that Miss Kitty LOVES her new DVD.
She is an avid bird watcher and unfortunately does not ever get to go outside!
She has lots of birds to watch during the day but now when I am away in the evenings, she can still have fun!
However, she does has a little bit of a disadvantage as her munchkin legs have a harder time getting those birds on the TV.
Thanks for all the fun!
Dawn (Chattanooga, TN)
Dear Kitty Show people,
Ms. Gabby loves her new Bug DVD!!!
I have always been told cats can't see tv. Nice to know THEY were wrong!! She is all over the tv and sits and watches and watches.. I have a 35 inch tv in the living room and she is SO facinated. She sits on HER stool next to HER tv and waits for me to turn on HER dvd!!!
I can't believe it, she now "owns" my tv and dvd player! Thank you SO VERY Much... I left it running for her today... so she wouldn't be sad with me away at work!
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
I will send more later next month.
Thank you again
Marion and Ms. Gabby
Just a note to let you know that there are two very happy Ragdoll cats in Mt. Forest, Ontario, Canada who are now watching not only "Bugs", but regular TV as well. (I caught them hopefully watching Emeril cooking, waiting for the moths, and creepy-crawlies to put in an appearance).
Here are some snaps of Kismet the first time I played "Bugs" for them. Kricket , (who is skulking in the background ) finally got into the video after my film was finished. Both of them were singing at the bugs the first time, and a month later they EXPECT to see this EVERY DAY!
This is a terrific product, my guys love it and my Mother's oriental cat Tao is nuts about "Bugs". He has been watching your competition (Video Catnip) for years, and he definitely prefers your video.
Thanks for thinking of the idea! Kelly
We have had your DVD's for 3 months now. My cat, Pepper, is still watching them both. My daughters and I cannot decide which one she likes best. I say the "bugs" and my daughter's say the "birds".
I have found Pepper to be happier and more talkative after watching them. She comes up to the TV and watches whenever we put in a DVD hoping it will be hers.
She also has found the cursor on the computer screen interesting after watching her movies. She "bats" at each of them.
I am so happy I ordered both DVD's. It has made a happy cat out of our house bound Alaska cat!
Hope you can use a picture still of Pepper!
Kitty Show folks..
Amazing, I could not believe it, Savannah really loves this video!
I never thought she would react so quickly, let alone at all. The moment the first bug hit the screen, she ran to the TV and began swatting.
Then she tried to figure out where the bugs were going. After looking between the TV and the wood case, she figured a look from above would resolve her curiosity, so up she jumped.
I knew Savannah was smart, but this was incredible. Just hilarious!
It's really an amazing video.
Bruce and Savannah
I just wanted to write and tell you how grateful I am that you created the kitty video toy. I have gotten a lot of laughs over watching my girls swat at the bugs on the screen.
One of my cats in particular is fascinated by the video. Any time I put a video into the VCR, even if it's a people movie, she gets into her position by the T.V. and waits anxiously for the bugs... sometimes I feel so bad that I abort my video and put in "her" video instead!
I've attached a few pictures. The one with Alora (the silver Persian) sitting like a gopher was taken the first time she saw the bugs going across the screen and she's been hooked ever since.
Thanks again for such a wonderful product!!
Lena (and Brook, Serena, Alora, and Emma too)
Four paws (and two tails) up! Way up!
It took approximately two twitches of a cat's whiskers before my owners zeroed in on your wonderful videos. We've only had them a few days, but Birds seems to be a slight favorite (or maybe that's just me).
The picture of the blonde bombshell is Purrot, who has been involved in some pretty serious staredowns. When Purrot adopted me 10 years ago, he was a poor starving orphan boy--a story he likes to tell me again and again every morning right about breakfast-time. As a kitten, he was a big-eared, strawberry blonde and absolutely full of himself. He reminded me of Ross Perot, the one-time presidential candidate. That, and the fact that his purr rivals a turbo-charged 747 engine, led to his name: Purrot. As you can see, he turned out to be, ahem, a good eater. (continued on next page)
Four paws (and two tails) up! Way up! (continued)
My other 10-year-old, Sushi, is the smart one, and she is shown contemplating a day-time spider.
She has investigated over, behind, under, around the TV but hasn't yet figured out where those son-of-a-mouse bugs (pardon our cat-fanity) are going.
But when she does, it will be one sorry bug, to be sure.
Thanks again for the wonderful work--we can't wait for your next production.
It's at the top of our KittyKlaws Christmas list.
I am sending you this little video our of “Miss Kitty” the first time she saw your Kitty Show. You can see she loved it! It had her “dazzled!".
I had time to run and get the camera and start recording her! She would even stop and look for the Bird sounds coming out of the surround sound system.
She is only 4 months old, But it kept her hunting off and on all afternoon! While we are watching TV, she Frequently checks out the screen to see if “ the bugs or birds” have sneaked back In.
The video is not entertaining for us (of course!), but watching her play with it, is as good Or better than anything else on our TV!!
I leave it on for her when we are gone... so she Will stay out of “kitten time-out!”
Thanks for the good work! Kitty in Tennessee
Thanks to the recent article in Ladies Home Journal, I ordered the "Birds" DVD, and as you can see from the pictures, Cali already loves it!
At first, the sound was coming from the surround sound speakers, and she was confused about where the sound was coming from, but we changed the sound to come from the TV, and now she associates the sound with the pictures.
Thanks for the entertainment!
Kim, Terri & Cali
I bought the bug video for my three cats for
Christmas, and they love it.
Now whenever I turn on the TV they come running cause they are hoping it's the video!
Enclosed is a picture of the three of them watching.
Left to Right: Pixie, Smudgy, and Bucky Bloo.
Thanks for thinking this up..
I received the bug video and my cats loved it!!!!
Enjoy the pictures.
(name with-held by request)
I ordered one of your Kitty Shows.. The Birds, then ordered the Bugs because my 3-cats enjoyed the Birds so much. When two of my cats were watching "the Birds", I took a picture of them, as I was totally amazed at their fascination and attention span. I am sending you the pictures of two of my cats (the 3rd cat was sitting on a chair watching, but out of sight). I hope you enjoy these as much as I have.
By the way, my cats still enjoy "their" videos. It's a real treat to them, and also for me, as it calms them down (to a point). Sometimes they're like mischievous little kids. They're spoiled, happy and I love them a lot.
The top picture is Presley, with Gordan at the extreme right waiting for the birds to come out from behind the TV. (green pointer pointing at him) and the bottom picture is of Jordan and Presley.
Regards, Janies (Jordan and Presley)
I recently purchased the bird and bug DVD's.
My cats love them both. Now they are so much more content when I leave them to go to work.
Sometimes one cat now "watches" TV - I think he's looking for his movie.
I attached photos of them both.
Thanks for a great idea.
My cat, Peanut, is fascinated by the videos.
We had a large 'crop' of millers this past spring,
but alas, they've gone up to the mountains so the video will keep her in shape for next year's millers.
Now if she could just figure out where those birds go when they fly off the side of the screen....
Thanks for keeping my cats entertained while I'm gone!
Colorado Springs CO
I sent you a letter last week about my Bengal kitty watching the video.
Here's a picture to go with the letter.
Not received letter yet.
I purchased the Birds and the Bugs DVD's.
My cat loves them, especially the birds.
Now if you could make one with squirrels he would be the happiest cat in the world.
I work with a no-kill shelter and can not (due to regulations) give any info or names about our shelter, as it may be viewed by some as advertising.
I can say that after you guys donated a DVD player and 2 DVD's to us, and helped us build a "viewing room" for the kitties, our adoption rate has gone up!
The room allows cats who watch the DVD to have a more "home like" enviorment and allowed us humans to spent more time with the dog section.
We have all noticed the cats are happier and most are more calm when people are looking at them for adoption.
Most people enjoy watching the cats interact with the movie. I have had several people adopt after seeing the kitty playing.
One of my cats now meows for me to turn on the video like a child crying for his Barney tape.
Now, when I am watching tv, he sits in front and meows because he wants the Bugs back.
The dvd has been great.
I have a 52" TV so my two cats are so enthrolled with the video. When there are bugs in the house, they are doomed. My cat jumped up from the floor to the wall to snatch a bug to a height of a little over 5 feet.
After all, he has been in training.
Thanks so much
Thank you for the new video...
my cat loves it!!!
I am only 11 but every morning before i go to
school I put the tape in for my cat...She LOVES it!!!
Thank you for this product!
Want to let you know the 2nd "Bird" video did arrive and our kittie loves it!!
She is enchanted. Never did get the first "Birds" video but I so much appreciate you sending me a second as soon as you learned that the first was in the land of the lost.
I just ordered (online) 2 of the "Bug" videos, one for my kittie and one for my daughter's kitties.
Keep up the good work.
You sure know your cats!
I just wanted to let you know that we received our DVD's today in the mail. They came very fast!
I ordered both the "Bug" and the "Bird".
They are WONDERFUL! We live in Alaska and it is -30 below zero outside right now and my 2 cats are going stir crazy inside. My youngest cat, Pepper, got the hang of watching the TV within minutes. She is enthralled.
My older cat, Patches, has vision problems but sat down next to the speakers and enjoyed listening! Pepper is batting at the TV screen and seems happier all ready.
Thank you for making these DVD's.
A very satisfied customer,
Dear Kitty Show,
Thank you so much.
Now I can work on business at the computer for 2 hours, without interuption from my Gabbie and Tillie.
They enjoy the video very much.
Dear Kitty Show People,
I just wanted to tell you how my cat is progressing with your movies. Miles seems to like both of them very much, although I do think he prefers the Birds. But I wanted to tell you that 9 out of 10 times, he turns the t.v. off when the movie is over!! This freaked me out a little at first, as I wondered who had been in my house, and who would be neurotic enough to just turn the t.v. off and then leave. So finally I believed that he was the one doing doing it. Maybe you know other cats that do this.
So now I have a new kitten named Spider Lily.
She is all cute and miniature as all get out. I'm sure she will be a fan of your movies once she is big enough to see the T.V. You all have been very kind to me and I really do appreciate it.
I hope you and your company are doing well.
Justice loves the video!!
I bought her a little 13 inch TV with video player, and placed it on the floor. I put the tape in and walked away. She jumped down from her normal spot looking out the window into the woods. Justice will sit or lay on the floor directly in front of the video. She puts her paws on the screen to catch the bugs, and occasionally will look on the side of the TV for the bugs. I have watched the entire video (several times).
I think that you did a great job, especially with the sound. Justice likes both screens (black and white).
Out of my 7 cats, she is the one who likes it most.
Justice is my most intelligent cat, and the reason I bought the video.
Thanks so much!
Hi Kitty Show,
I should have contacted you a long time ago, but I procrastinated. I just wanted you to know that I have never seen my cat so enthralled in anything like he is this tape. He will haunt us until we pop in the tape in the morning. We have to play it for him before we leave for work or he is a nuisance.
Once on, he can't be disturbed. He is so focused that nothing distracts him.
Once in awhile, he seems to forget and tries to go around to the back of the TV to find the bugs. He did that for the first week or so when we got the tape, but then he didn't know where they were.
Sometime on weekends, we have to play the tape a couple of times (once just isn't enough).
We thank you, on behalf of P.J., for hours of enjoyment.
Kitty Show folks,
Just wanted to let you know how much my cat loves the new bird video.
I think I was one of the first to receive it on DVD.
Interesting, my cat showed no interest to the bugs demo in the beginning.
I have two cats, one purebred and one narrow-back-street variety. I got the second cat so that my purebred would have a buddy.
But instead of one lazy worthless over-fed feline, I found myself with two! After finding KittyShow, however, they now have someday play to really look forward to! The first time I played the video, one cat was mildly interested, while the other ignored it.
It took about four viewings to get both interested.
Now they both love it and come running to the TV
when they hear the intro music.
My recommendation: Put on the video every day as you leave for work. After about a week of this, put the video on and watch their reaction. They will recognize and become excited over all those bugs.
Much better for them than catnip!
THANKS, KittyShow.. Ben W.
Our kitty is now a DVD junkie! ha!
His name is "H.K." (Here Kitty) and he now stands, looks at the T.V., and meows for his birdies!
It is by far the cutest thing my son and I have ever seen!
I've told all of my cat lover friends about your video! It's GREAT!
Patty & Zac
p.s. I found out about "Kitty Show" from the Ladies Home Journal article about you guys!
Hey Kitty Show,
Just a note to let you know how wonderful these two DVDs are!
I have three cats and they immediately went to the TV when I started the each show - surround sound only enhances the chirping of the birds.
Thank you for such a fun activity for Max, Sovie, and Cinnamon!
I am so happy that I found this site.
Your product came in record time.
My 3 beautiful girls are loving every minute.
Natalie and Katie love the birds, Ejfel is completely entranced with the bugs.
Thank you so much as I moved from Indianapolis In. where the girls had a yard to go out in, now we live in a condo in Chicago IL.
We all thank you!!!
Luann (Chicago, IL)
